Intercity STC Coaches Ltd. has issued a public notice clarifying that no fatalities occurred in the Accra–Kumasi–Accra bus accident reported on Monday.
The company dismissed earlier claims suggesting that only ten passengers survived, describing them as false and misleading. According to the statement, all passengers and crew involved in the incident received medical attention and were subsequently discharged.
Management emphasized STC’s unwavering commitment to safety, reliability, and customer care, assuring the public, passengers, stakeholders, and media of continued cooperation with authorities to verify information.
The notice, signed “By Management,” reaffirmed STC’s dedication to transparency and urged the public to rely on official communications for accurate updates.
This clarification comes amid heightened public concern following the accident, with STC seeking to reassure passengers of its operational standards and safety protocols.
