Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister responsible for Government Communications, has announced that President John Dramani Mahama will formally inaugurate the “Nkoko Nkitinkiti” initiative in Kumasi on Wednesday, November 12.
Although comprehensive information about the programme has yet to be released, it is anticipated to center on community upliftment and youth empowerment, aligning with the administration’s broader social intervention policies.
The week’s activities will conclude on Thursday, November 13, when the Finance Minister is scheduled to deliver the 2026 Budget Statement to Parliament.
This upcoming budget is expected to introduce significant policy measures designed to stimulate economic expansion, generate employment opportunities, and enhance social protection systems. It will also outline plans to improve fiscal responsibility and optimize resource allocation across vital sectors.
Describing the week as “highly significant,” Felix Kwakye Ofosu underscored that these developments collectively reflect the government’s dedication to transparency, national progress, and citizen engagement.
