The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has revealed a downward adjustment in passport application charges, lowering the cost from GH₵500 to GH₵350.
This change reflects a 30% cut in fees.
The updated pricing will be implemented starting Thursday, November 13, 2025.
The initiative is part of the government’s broader strategy to make essential services more accessible and affordable to citizens.
The revised rate will apply to both first-time passport applicants and individuals renewing their existing passports.
