President Mahama to Deliver State of the Nation Address on February 27

Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, is set to deliver the 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA) before Parliament on Friday, February 27, 2026.

The address, scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Parliamentary Chamber, will outline the government’s priorities and set the tone for the year ahead. It is expected to cover key areas including the economy, infrastructure, social services, and Ghana’s role in regional and global affairs.

The event, organized by the Parliament of Ghana, will be broadcast live on GH Parliament TV and other media outlets nationwide. All media houses have been invited to provide coverage.

The State of the Nation Address is a constitutional requirement, offering the President an opportunity to update citizens on the state of the country and the government’s plans for the future.
