The Ghana Police Service has indicated that it has made contact with Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale regarding a Facebook post he made in connection with the death of artiste manager, Fennec Okyere.
According to a police statement issued on 2nd November 2022, Shatta Wale, known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Jnr is cooperating to complement the law enforcement agency’s ongoing investigation.
“The Police would like to put on record that the recently established Cold Case Unit, has been working for months on all unresolved murder cases, including that of Fennec Okyere with support from the affected families.
“We would like to opportunity to thank all the families who have been working with the Cold Case Unit since its establishment for their cooperation and understanding,” the statement added.
The Police further assured the public that the Police will continue to work relentlessly on these cases in order to bring closure to the affected families.
