Majority Caucus Donates GH¢100,000 to Late Ayawaso East MP’s Family

The Majority Caucus in Parliament has extended financial support to the family of the late Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Mahama Naser Toure. Acting on behalf of the Speaker of Parliament, the Caucus presented a cash donation of GH¢100,000 to the widow of the late legislator at her residence in Accra.

The gesture was described as a demonstration of solidarity and compassion, aimed at easing the burden on the bereaved family following the passing of the respected lawmaker. The Majority Caucus noted that the donation reflects Parliament’s commitment to standing with colleagues and their families in times of grief.

Mahama Naser Toure, who represented Ayawaso East, was remembered for his dedicated service to his constituents and his contributions to national discourse. His passing has left a void in both his constituency and the legislative chamber.
