President John Dramani Mahama will on Thursday, 22nd January, host a high-level forum at the Davos Summit, bringing together global leaders and stakeholders for strategic dialogue on Africa’s future. The event is scheduled for 2:30 pm CET.
The forum, organized in furtherance of the Accra Reset Initiative, will feature Mr. Mahama alongside former Nigerian President, H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo, and other pioneering leaders.

Held under the theme “Defining the Sovereign Future”, the dialogue will focus on Africa’s quest for economic independence, governance reforms, and sustainable development in an evolving global order.
The engagement is expected to provide a platform for frank discussions on sovereignty, leadership, and Africa’s positioning within global decision-making spaces. It will also reinforce the Accra Reset vision of African-led solutions to African challenges.
Observers say the Davos forum will highlight Africa’s determination to chart its own course in global affairs, while strengthening partnerships that support the continent’s long-term growth and stability.
