The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has directed the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) to investigate allegations contained in a viral video regarding the unauthorised withdrawal of GH₵400,000 from the mobile money account of an agent by some police personnel in Kibi.
According to the Ghana Police Service, the victim has been contacted and is assisting with the ongoing investigation. The directive underscores the IGP’s commitment to ensuring accountability and upholding professional standards within the Service.
The Police Administration has assured the public that the outcome of the investigation will be communicated in due course.
