The Greater Accra Bissa Council of Chiefs and Imams, and the family of murdered Munira Moro, on Saturday 17th September 2022 held a meeting to discuss about the murder incident of Muniratu Moro which took place at Abeka a suburb of Accra .
The meeting which took place at Chief Mohammed Dabre’s Palace in Nima was Among other things enable the family to take the next step towards justice.
The Chiefs together with members of the deceased family decided they needed a lawyer to represent the family since the case is already in court.
Secretary of Dabre Palace, Alhaji Salifu Dabre told Baina News that the Chiefs will fully support the family so that justice is served.
According to him, the Police are done with the forensic examination of the body and the family can pick it for burial. The family will do so based on the advice of the lawyer, as soon as they get one.
The family of the late Muniratu expressed their displeasure and accused their in-laws for not showing enough concern about the happenings.
Muniratu’s husband and rival are in police custody pending investigation and will appear in court on 22nd September, 2022.
Munaritu Moro who got married as a second wife was murdered in cold blood in what was earlier linked to her husband’s first wife and later hired landguards .
She died of her stab wounds in her room at Abeka Lapaz less than 10 days after her marriage ceremony which was witnessed by family and friends.
