GRA announces implementation of the Electronic Transfer Levy from July 1

The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has served notice of the full implementation of the Electronic Transfer Levy.

A statement signed by the Commisioner of the Support Services Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) indicates that the implementation will start on 1st July 2022.

According to the statement, all charging entities are expected to integrate to the Ghana Revenue Authority’s Electronic Levy Management and Assurance System (ELMAS), commonly referred to as the Common Platform on or before 28 June2022 for GO LIVE on 1st July 2022.

Meanwhile, the Live Credentials have been shared with your technical teams for onboarding onto the Common Platform.

The statement further stated that failure to integrate for GO LIVE on 1st July 2022 will attract sanctions under the Revenue Administration Act of 2016, Act 915.
