Finance Minister to Present Mid‑Year Budget Review on July 23

The Minister for Finance, Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson, is scheduled to present the 2026 Mid‑Year Budget Review to Parliament on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

The announcement was made by the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. George Kweku Ricketts‑Hagan, when he presented the Business Statement for the week ending Friday, July 17, 2026. He noted that the presentation will provide an update on Ghana’s fiscal performance and outline measures to sustain economic stability in the second half of the year.

In addition to the Finance Minister’s appearance, five Ministers of State and the Governor of the Bank of Ghana are expected to appear before the House to respond to 27 questions posed by Members of Parliament.

Those scheduled include the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, the Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation, the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Minister for Transport, and the Governor of the Bank of Ghana.

The Business Statement further indicated that Parliament will continue to consider Bills at various stages, receive committee reports, and deliberate on motions and resolutions as part of its legislative agenda for the week.
