Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has reiterated government’s resolve to revive the economy.

Delivering the Mid-Year Review of the Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the Government for the 2022 financial year in Parliament today, July 25, 2022, Mr. Ofori Atta said government has a track record of reviving the economy.
He is thus confident the current economic challenge will be no different.

Mr. Ofori-Atta said the government will not request supplementary funds for its activities for the rest of the year.

Although, he lamented about the impact of the external factors that has crippled the revenue sectors of the economy, he insisted that government will judiciously use the scarce resources at its disposal for the benefit of Ghanaians.
