The Tema High Court “A”, presided over by Justice Janet Marfo, has ordered evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, to pay GH¢100,000 in damages to gospel musician Empress Gifty Adorye in a defamation case.
The ruling concludes a legal battle that began in May 2025, when Empress Gifty filed a GH¢20 million defamation suit against Agradaa over what she described as slanderous and libellous remarks made about her.
The court issued the order after both parties agreed to settle the matter out of court. In addition to the compensation, Nana Agradaa has been directed to publicly retract all allegations made against Empress Gifty and issue a formal apology.
According to Adom News reporter Mike Two, the settlement officially brings an end to the dispute between the two public figures.
