GES Disburses Funds for 2025 WASSCE Practical Examinations

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially released funds to all Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) nationwide to support the conduct of practical examinations for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

According to GES, the initiative aims to ensure that all scheduled practical exams are adequately resourced with the necessary materials, while also easing the financial burden on parents and guardians. The funding is expected to facilitate a smooth and well-organized examination process, allowing students to concentrate fully on their academic work.

In an official release signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations, GES urged regional, district, and school leadership to utilize the funds responsibly and strictly for their designated purpose, emphasizing the importance of transparency and effective management.

“Management will continue to monitor the utilisation process to maintain high standards in the administration of the exams,” the statement noted.
