John Mahama Bails out the Stranded UDS Medical Student

The former president H.E. John Dramani Mahama has paid the school fees for Miss Fauzia Ali to cover the entire 5 year period she is to study and graduate as a Medical Doctor.

We would recall that, Fauzia Ali who had gained admission into the University for Development Studies hit the Social Media when she was spotted selling roasted plantain. It was actually due to lack of resources to continue her studies that she resorted to helping her mother in selling roasted plantain to enable her raise some money to pursue her dreams as a Medical Doctor.

On hearing her predicament through a Social Media publication, the Former President sent his emissaries to the family and today, paid the fees to cover the entire period of the program.

As we speak, Fauzia Ali has been gainfully admitted into the College of Health Sciences of the UDS to pursue her dream.

At this point, we wish to express our profound gratitude to H.E. John Mahama for this heart warming and life changing intervention.
