Really looking forward to be involved against Aston Villa this weekend- Jordan Ayew

Ghana Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew has expressed his readiness to be involved in Leicester City’s  EPL game against Aston Villa this weekend.

Leicester take on Villa on Saturday, August 31 at 16:00 GMT before the international break; Leicester are without a win two games into the 2024-2025 season.

Jordan Ayew said this in a post game interview after scoring his debut goal for The Foxes in his debut start for the club.

The 32 year old player joined Leicester from Crystal Palace on a two year deal and scored a brilliant goal in Leicester’s 4-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in the Carabao Cup second round.

After securing qualification to the third round of the competition, Jordan Ayew switched his focus on helping Leicester register its first win of the season.

“I’m really looking forward to be involved but like I said I stay humbled. I’m here for the team, I’m here for the manager and obviously, if I have my start, fine, if I don’t have my start is okay but the most important thing for me is for us to win on Saturday because we need the points.”
