The National Service Authority (NSA) has extended the registration deadline for prospective National Service Personnel (NSPs) for the 2026/2027 service year from October 15 to October 23, 2026.
The extension was announced in a statement issued by the Authority on October 16, 2026, to provide additional time for eligible personnel who are yet to complete their registration.
According to the NSA, the decision is intended to give all qualified applicants another opportunity to finalize the registration process and avoid challenges associated with missing the earlier deadline.
The Authority urged all affected personnel to take advantage of the extension and ensure that their registration is completed on or before Friday, October 23, 2026.
It further advised applicants to follow the prescribed registration procedures and ensure that all required steps are duly completed within the stipulated period.
The NSA emphasized its commitment to ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for all eligible National Service Personnel ahead of the commencement of the 2026/2027 service year.
The Authority warned that failure to register within the extended period could result in inconvenience for affected applicants.
