The Ghana Police Service has arrested Sibamay Zakaria, the man captured in a viral video assaulting a suspect.
Police officials confirmed that Zakaria is currently in custody assisting with investigations and will be arraigned before court.
Meanwhile, the Police Professional Standards Bureau has launched a probe into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities say all persons found culpable will face the necessary disciplinary processes.
