Corporate Ghana and International Partners Rally for Flood Relief

A surge of corporate and international solidarity has reached the Presidency following the June 29 flood disaster that devastated Accra and surrounding communities. Senior government officials, including Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration) Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, Legal Advisor to the President Marietta Brew, and Presidential Advisor Joyce Bawah Mogtari, formally received cash donations, medical supplies, food, and essential goods on behalf of the state.

The relief contributions underscore the commitment of Corporate Ghana and international partners to stand with affected families during this critical period.

Major Corporate & Organisational Donors

Ghana Association of Chinese Societies & Companies — Thousands of bags of rice, gari, and water; medical supplies including 2,000 malaria test kits and anti‑malaria medication; 3,000 sleeping mats, appliances, water tanks, and school bags.
MTN Ghana & Multimedia Group Campaign — 1,400 mattresses, 1,192 blankets, and nearly 1,000 packed relief boxes containing food, nets, and hygiene essentials.
Sentuo Group Limited — 4,000 bags of rice (25kg), 600 bags of sugar, and 387 boxes of granular maize.
Ecobank Ghana — Essential medications, 1,000 bags of water, 195 mattresses, blankets, and bales of clothing.
B5 Plus Limited — Food items, Cerelac baby food, 100 pairs of Wellington boots, raincoats, mosquito nets, and blankets.
SoftCare FM Manufacturing — Sanitary pads, diapers, KleenSoft soap, and washing powder.
Tobinco Group — 5,000 gallons of Omal liquid soap, 100 boxes of antiseptic, and 400 gallons of bleach.
Eezzy Group — Over 1,000 bags of rice, canned beef, spaghetti, and baking supplies.
Kam Trading & Farms Limited — 445 bags of rice (25kg).

Government has extended its deepest appreciation to all donors, noting that the collective effort reflects a spirit of solidarity and compassion that will help communities recover from the disaster.
