Big Push Update: Kasoa-Winneba Road Project Nears Completion

Motorists plying the Kasoa-Winneba road are set to experience significant relief as paved sections of the stretch are scheduled to open to traffic within the next month. The entire project remains on track for completion by the end of this year.

President John Dramani Mahama, who inspected the project yesterday, expressed satisfaction with the progress of work. “I understand the frustrations faced by commuters, but help is on the way. The contractor is doing good work, and we expect the project to be completed by December or, at the latest, the first quarter of next year,” he assured.

Government officials accompanying the President emphasized that the steady progress reflects a clear policy directive that no inherited project should be abandoned. Majority Leader Hon. Kwame Agbodza noted that this principle has guided ongoing infrastructure works nationwide. He further disclosed that the government has paid over GH₵12 billion to road contractors since 2025, ensuring continuity and timely delivery of projects.
