The United Kingdom has pledged continued support for Ghana’s Parliament in achieving its newly launched Corporate Strategic Plan (2026–2030).
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Hooman Nouruzi, Head of the Political, Security and Governance Team at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to strengthening parliamentary systems in Ghana.
He described the initiative, which seeks to deepen citizen engagement, as more than a ceremonial event, but a promise to represent the interests of the people. Mr. Nouruzi emphasized that the UK values its partnership with Ghana and stands ready to support Parliament in delivering on its strategic priorities.
The Strategic Plan is expected to enhance institutional capacity, improve transparency, and foster greater public participation in governance, aligning Parliament’s work with national development goals.
