The United States Embassy in Accra has announced the opening of thousands of additional non-immigrant visa appointment slots, many of which are currently available. The Embassy continues to process non-immigrant visa applications as demand rises ahead of major international events.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, the Embassy is encouraging Ghanaians planning to travel to the United States to apply early if they do not yet hold a valid U.S. visa.
Applicants are reminded to schedule their appointments only through the official U.S. visa appointment website to ensure proper processing.
The Embassy says the expanded slots are part of efforts to meet growing demand and to facilitate smoother travel arrangements for applicants.
