The Zarmai Wafakai Association Of The Zabarma In Ghana Marks its First Anniversary.

The Zarmai Wafakai Association Of The Zabarma in Ghana On Saturday 31st December 2022 marked its first anniversay and inauguration ceremonty in Ghana.

The Inauguration and first anniversary celebration of the Zarmai Wafakai Association, was held amongst various Zabarma Chiefs and Chiefs of other tribes in Ghana. Zarmai Wafakai, formerly Niger Youth Brotherhood, established in 1975.

Founded by the then Police Chief Inspector Danda in Nima Accra, the aim of the Association is to enhance Togetherness as the name Zarmai Wafakai explains and to promote the rich culture and tradition of the Zabarma tribe, with the theme: Make the Zabarma tribe serve as source of pride to Our people and also be an example for other tribes to emulate.

The event was held in a form of cultural display of the Zabarma, Traditional dressing, Dance, Drama, feasting as one people and socialising.

Special guests of honour and Chiefs who graced the occasion are; Nima Zabarma Chief and National Patron-Council of Zabarma Chiefs, Chief Alhaji Seidu Lewis.

Greater Accra Zabarma Chief and National Chair Council of Zabarma Chiefs Chief Alhaji Musah Yahya Yandu.

Sarki and Sarkin Samari Yaadiga of the Moshi, Greater Accra Region Naaba Ramia and Alhaji Alhassan.

Mustapha Abubakar from the Office of former President Mahama. The NDC Caucus Coordinator USA, Alhaji Abdul Salam.

Sarki Zabarma-Dominase, Sarki Osman Musah and Sarki Abdul Rahman.

Other Chiefs of Dominase of the Songhai, Manhyia and other regions.

Special guests of honour and Nima Zabarma Chief and National Patron-Council of Zabarma Chiefs), Chief Alhaji Seidu Lewis had this to say.

Greater Accra Zabarma Chief and National Chair Council of Zabarma Chiefs Chief Alhaji Musah Yahya Yandu also added his voice to the call for unity and togetherness.

Most of the Guests of Honour and some invited guests and members of the association shared their joy, words of advice and encouraged the youth, people of Zabarma and others to be a part of Zarmai Wafakai, to make other tribes learn and develop the spirit of Togetherness.
