Police Arrest Suspect in Suhum Murder Case

 The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of 56-year-old Enoch Obiri, which occurred at Soronko Farms near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality.

The suspect, identified as Eric Kenny, allegedly attacked the deceased on 13th February 2026, inflicting multiple stab wounds on his left arm and abdomen.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Kenny had issued threats to Obiri on several occasions over a suspected amorous relationship involving his wife. Witnesses also reported seeing him in the area on the day of the incident.

Police confirmed that the suspect is currently in custody assisting with investigations and will be put before court.

Authorities say the arrest marks a significant step in ensuring justice for the victim and his family, while investigations continue to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crime.
