The Chairperson of the Corporate Strategic Plan Steering Committee, Hon. Bernard Ahiafor, has outlined the contents of Parliament’s new Strategic Plan chapter by chapter, noting that it reflects both the aspirations of Parliament as an institution and the broader national development plan.
Commending members of the Technical Committee for their professionalism, Hon. Ahiafor expressed deep appreciation to the Rt. Hon. Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin for his leadership role in guiding the process.
He also acknowledged the support received from the Parliamentary Service Board, Members of Parliament, management and staff of the Parliamentary Service, as well as development partners, whose contributions have been instrumental in shaping the plan.
The Strategic Plan is expected to serve as a roadmap for strengthening Parliament’s institutional capacity, enhancing transparency, and aligning legislative priorities with Ghana’s national development agenda.
