The Leadership of Parliament has announced that leaders from both the Majority and Minority sides will present their closing statements on the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy tomorrow, Thursday, 27th November 2025.
The address will officially conclude the general debate on the Budget and set the stage for the next phase of parliamentary work, which includes detailed committee-level scrutiny and sectoral implementation.
Over the past several weeks, Members of Parliament have engaged in rigorous discussions, consultations, and reviews of the fiscal plan. The Leadership’s final remarks are expected to underscore key insights, highlight priority areas across various sectors, and outline the strategic direction for the 2026 financial year.
Stakeholders have been urged to follow the proceedings closely and prepare for subsequent internal briefings. Parliament has indicated that further directives and follow-up actions will be communicated after the Leadership’s submissions.
