Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been endorsed by his campaign spokesperson, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, as the best candidate to address Ghana’s challenges.
Aboagye stated on Facebook that the NPP is the only party that has provided clear reasons for Ghanaians to vote, citing Dr. Bawumia’s specific policy proposals to tackle the country’s issues.
During his tour of the Greater Accra Region on September 18, Dr. Bawumia made several promises to the people of Sege, including the construction of a mini harbor and a sea defense project to mitigate the impact of tidal waves.
”We need a mini-harbour. So we are going to work on bringing a mini harbour to Sege here for you and that is a very important thing. And then, of course, very important, we need to do the sea defence for this area.
“So I have a lot to do for you. If I come back in four years, I will have to give an account of what I have done with the sea defence,” he said.
He emphasized the importance of these projects, stating that he will be accountable for their progress in four years
Dr. Bawumia also expressed gratitude to the chiefs and stakeholders for their advice on collaborative national development. As a seasoned economist and former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Bawumia’s expertise is expected to play a significant role in shaping the country’s economic future.
