The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is moving forward with its National Delegates Conference, scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025, despite reports of a potential court injunction.
Chairman of the Accommodation Committee, Divine Otoo Agorhom, who also serves as the NPP’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman, is reported to have confirmed that the party hasn’t been served with any court injunction to halt the event.
Agorhom’s statement comes after reports emerged that two party members, Shamsudeen Iddrisu and Boateng Kwadwo, had filed a motion at the High Court in Accra seeking an injunction to stop the conference.
However, Agorhom emphasized that preparations for the conference are ongoing without any legal setbacks.
The Accommodation Committee is fully focused on delivering a smooth and successful conference, with all accommodation and logistical plans well on course.
His assurance suggests that the party is confident in its preparations and is proceeding with the conference as planned.
“The Accommodation Committee is fully focused on delivering a smooth and successful conference, with all accommodation and logistical plans well on course,” Mr.Agorhom stated.
