Asante Kotoko coach Seydou Zerbo refused to take all his questions after a 1-1 draw against Tamale City on Wednesday.
It was the Porcupines’ third game without a win as they gave away the lead a few minutes from stoppage time. The Porcupines had previously drawn goalless with league leaders Aduana Stars before salvaging a point in the dying embers of their clash with Great Olympics at the Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday.
n Wednesday’s encounter with Tamale City, Kotoko went in front through an own goal by Issah Nyaabila in the 84th minute but the Tamale-based side fought back to level in the 86th minute thanks to Ibrahim Babamu’s goal.
The disappointed Burkinabe trainer could not help but storm out of the post-match interview following his side’s uninspiring performance as explained by his interpreter.
Before walking away Zerbo in a dispiriting manner said: “We have drawn three consecutive matches and this is due to individual mistakes from the defence. We are leading let’s say 6 minutes to the end of the game and we lost concentration and they had an equaliser.”.
The defending champions continue their search for a win in another difficult venue when they visit Gold Stars at Duns Park next Monday.
