Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mubarak, has commissioned the Bono Regional Command of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), reaffirming government’s commitment to strengthening Ghana’s national security architecture.

The new command, located in Sunyani, will serve as a hub for signals and intelligence operations, providing real-time and actionable intelligence to support security agencies in tackling threats such as armed robbery, cybercrime, chieftaincy disputes, farmer–herder conflicts, and cross-border smuggling in the Bono Region.

In his remarks, the Interior Minister urged residents to support the work of the NSB, stressing that securing peace is a shared responsibility between the state and the public.

Traditional authorities and the Bono Regional Minister welcomed the facility, describing it as a landmark step in enhancing Ghana’s security framework and ensuring the safety of citizens across the region.
