Rescue teams have moved to the crash site in the Ashanti Region where a Ghana Armed Forces helicopter went down.
The aircraft reportedly had eight people on board. Unconfirmed reports indicate that four individuals may have been burnt beyond recognition, while the remaining four are yet to be located and identified.
Efforts are ongoing to retrieve survivors and gather more details.
Reports also indicate that some government officials have already arrived at the scene including Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene.
