The government will today, Tuesday, November 11, make public the findings of the investigative report into the Ghana Air Force helicopter crash that occurred on August 6.
The release follows the submission of the final report by the Acting Minister for Defence, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, who chaired the inquiry committee. Dr. Forson presented the document to President John Dramani Mahama on Monday during a meeting of the National Security Council.
At the session, the committee briefed the President and senior security officials on the outcome of their investigation. The crash, which prompted immediate concern, led to the swift establishment of the committee to determine the causes of the incident and to recommend measures aimed at preventing future occurrences.
The report, expected later today, is anticipated to provide detailed insights into the committee’s findings and recommendations, offering Ghanaians a clearer understanding of the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
