Ghana Armed Forces Begins 2025 Enlistment Screening

 The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has commenced the documentation and body selection phase of its 2025 enlistment exercise at designated screening centres in Accra and Kumasi.

At the Air Force Base in Accra and the Nicholson Sports Stadium at Burma Camp, a total of 1,967 Army potential cadets and 1,107 prospective Air Force and Naval cadets have been scheduled to report for screening.

The Director General of Human Resources, Commodore Francis Ayitevi Nyarko, urged applicants to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations guiding the process. He emphasized that compliance would ensure a smooth and transparent exercise. Commodore Nyarko further noted that the screening would last for two days to allow all qualified applicants to be assessed.

According to GAF, a total of 3,729 persons applied for enlistment this year. Of this figure, 2,421 applied to join the Army, 572 for the Navy, and 736 for the Air Force.

The exercise marks a crucial stage in the Armed Forces’ recruitment process, which seeks to bolster the nation’s defense with disciplined and qualified personnel.
