The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has received the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, at the Regional Coordinating Council as part of a New Year working visit.
In a statement shared on Facebook, Dr. Amoakohene said the visit formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen consultation, deepen collaboration, and align priorities for effective governance and party organisation in the region. He noted that the engagement with key stakeholders was aimed at fostering unity of purpose and advancing development across the Ashanti Region.
“We remain committed to constructive engagement, unity of purpose, and a shared vision for the progress and development of the Ashanti Region and Ghana as a whole,” the Minister stated.
The meeting underscores the importance of dialogue between political leadership and regional authorities as Ghana enters the new year with renewed focus on governance and development.
