While Addressing the National Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) at Kasoa in the central region, the first lady urged them to support the ruling government, especially during this period, of the global economic crisis.

She said the future of the NPP depends on  (TECSON). She made those statements at the Training and orientation conference, she told the students about the necessity to confront the populace vigorously in clarifying the monetary challenges and what the state is fulfilling to unravel them.

“I call on the TESCON fraternity to solidly support the government in this period of global economic crisis, there is light at the end of the tunnel but there is also work to be done. you need to engage the public actively in situating Ghana’s economic challenges and the solution by the government.” She announced.

Mrs Akufo-Addo asserted also that the state will do everything to assist them because the destiny of the New Patriotic Party banks on them. she went along to applaud TESCON for their assistance in conveying the NPP to power and advised them to have evidence and the essential assertion to facilitate adequately civil oration.
