Member of Parliament for  Madina, Francis-Xavier Sosu, On Sunday  3rd April, 2022, met with the chiefs and elders of Madina Zongo to examine the roadmap to resolve the standoff between the Zongo society and the faith Baptist school.

The main discussion is to examine the roadmap to resolve the standoff between the Zongo society and the faith Baptist school that contend possession of the land and referred to a court judgement and other documents lately demolished edifices and ejected many folks at the Madina Tipper Truck station.

The demolition did not go well with many people in the area and transpired in demonstrations where some youth angrily spilt out their frustrations.

The lawmaker and the MP for the area have reportedly reached out to the leadership of the Faith Baptist school who have promised their devotion and backing to the peace process.

Hopefully, this will give rise to a permanent antidote to the dilemma which has lingered for over a decade.
