The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Monday, 11 April served a disconnection notice to the Judicial Services. This follows a demand notice that was served the Judicial services to retrieve its debt of GHS 762, 319.35 in electricity bills.
The National Disconnection/Revenue Recovery Task Force from the ECG has in recent times been going after some heavily indebted organizations.
The organizations are 29 in number and include Entrance Pharmacy, EOCO, Communications Ministry, Internal Audit Agency and United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
As of 28 February 2022, The Judicial services had made payment of GHS 450,592. The Judicial services might face disconnection if payments are not made by Friday.
