The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers Ghana (COPEC) is projecting a drop of to 2% in the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas.
The price of LPG is expected to decline by 2%, which is around ¢0.21 per kilogram in the first window of May.LPG will be sold at ¢10.093 per kilogram. This is because the international price per metric tonne of LPG has declined.
This comes at the back of some users of the product complaints about the sporadic increase in the price of the product, they now resort to the use of charcoal and firewood.
The increase in the prices of various petroleum products has been ascribed to the continuous depreciation of the Cedi and Russia Ukraine war.
