Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mubarak, and Acting Defence Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, joined officers and personnel at the Joint Security Services Route March held at the El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra.

Addressing the gathering, the Interior Minister assured the security services of government’s unwavering commitment to their welfare in the coming year, with particular focus on housing, morale, and logistics. He reaffirmed that the ongoing retooling of the services would continue to strengthen their operational capacity.

Organised by the Ghana Armed Forces in collaboration with other agencies, the march was aimed at reassuring the public of the collective readiness of the security services to maintain peace and order throughout the festive season.

Mubarak commended the men and women in uniform for their dedication, professionalism, and sacrifice in service to the nation. He noted that the route march once again demonstrated the shared resolve of Ghana’s security services to protect the country and safeguard the safety of all citizens.
