The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has presented six new Toyota Coaster buses (2025 model) to staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of efforts to improve staff welfare and ease transportation challenges.
The presentation, made earlier today, fulfills a pledge the Minister made during his inaugural staff durbar upon assuming office.
“Coming to work should not be stressful,” Mr. Ablakwa stated, adding that the buses will be available for staff to commute to and from work at no cost.
He also expressed satisfaction with broader improvements in the general conditions of service at the Ministry, reaffirming his commitment to prioritizing staff welfare and motivation.
The initiative is expected to enhance morale and productivity among Ministry staff, while reinforcing the Minister’s focus on creating a supportive and efficient working environment.
