The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has reminded all intending pilgrims to expedite payment of their Hajj 2027 fares through the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) to avoid last‑minute challenges.
According to the Communications Directorate, the official fare for the 2027 pilgrimage remains GH¢60,000, unchanged from the 2026 rate. Registration and payment, which commenced on August 12, 2026, will be conducted strictly on a first‑come, first‑served basis until Ghana’s allocated quota is exhausted.
Prospective pilgrims have been cautioned against making payments through unapproved channels, as PAOG will not be responsible for transactions outside the authorized arrangements. All payments must be made either through PAOG‑accredited Hajj Agents or directly into PAOG accounts using official codes via GCB Bank.
The Office emphasized that no partial payments will be accepted, urging applicants to complete their transactions and submit required documentation early to secure their slots.
