The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced July 15, 2026, as the closing date for loan applications for the 2025/2026 academic year.
In a statement signed by Chief Executive Officer Dr. Saajida Shiraz, the Fund urged applicants under both the Regular Students Loan and Students Loan Plus schemes to complete submissions ahead of the deadline to ensure timely processing.
The release highlighted that since the start of the academic year, the SLTF has disbursed GHS 170,493,187.50 to 47,988 beneficiaries, alongside GHS 17,205,184.13 to 1,426 students, including 610 law students. Officials noted that the disbursements reflect the Fund’s commitment to expanding access to tertiary education financing.
Dr. Shiraz reaffirmed SLTF’s dedication to supporting Ghanaian students, emphasizing that the Fund remains a reliable partner in bridging financial gaps for higher education. She encouraged prospective applicants to act promptly to avoid last‑minute challenges.
