Zimbabwean President Arrives in Accra for State Visit

 The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, His Excellency Emmerson D. Mnangagwa, has arrived in Accra for a three-day State Visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between Ghana and Zimbabwe.

He was warmly received on arrival at the Jubilee Lounge of the Accra International Airport by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. Senior government officials from both countries, along with members of the diplomatic corps, were present to welcome the visiting Head of State.

The visit is expected to deepen cooperation between the two nations, with discussions likely to focus on trade, investment, and shared development priorities. Officials say the engagements will build on longstanding relations between Ghana and Zimbabwe, while opening new avenues for collaboration across key sectors.

President Mnangagwa’s itinerary includes high-level meetings, bilateral talks, and cultural engagements designed to foster mutual understanding and partnership.
