A student of Oyoko dispensing optics who’s aged 23 has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in Kumasi, on Tuesday evening.
The victim, Kwabena Asumadu met his untimely death shortly after dropping a friend at sofoline around 11pm. His car which was an unregistered Mercedes-Benz. He was shot multiple times through the driver’s seat by these unknown gunmen.
“Kwabena was a calm and reliable friend. He didn’t have qualms with anyone because he is someone who immediately apologizes to people he offends. We just can’t understand why someone will do something like this to him. We are pained but God knows best”, a friend of the deceased, Addai Derick stated.
No arrest has been made but the police has commenced with investigation. The body of Kwabena has been sent to The Komfo Anokye teaching hospital morgue for autopsy.
