The Administrator of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), Dr. Richard Boadu, has said the Fund has received Parliamentary approval to bring to completion all awarded projects prior to 2017 (legacy projects) and projects post-2017 to date, over the next three years. The Bolgatanga Circuit court has remanded into police custody five persons suspected of murder and discharging of firearms without authority at Bawku in the Upper East Region. They were arrested in Bawku in connection with renewed ethnic disturbances that recorded four deaths. The driver who hit and killed seven children at Ankaase in the Krachi West District of the Oti Region has been arrested.
