President John Mahama paid a visit to the home of the late Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings to express his sympathies and pay tribute to her distinguished career in public service.
During his visit, President Mahama spoke about her remarkable contributions and enduring impact.
He further revealed that the former First Lady will receive a state funeral with full ceremonial honours, acknowledging her outstanding dedication to the country.
The President also penned a message in the condolence book set up in her honour.
At the Rawlings residence, Mr Mahama and his wife joined relatives, notable personalities, and other mourners in offering prayers and words of comfort.
Nana Konadu, who died on October 23, 2025, was celebrated for her trailblazing efforts in championing women’s rights and for founding the 31st December Women’s Movement.
The commemoration continues to attract influential individuals from Ghana’s political, social, and civic communities, as the nation grieves the loss of a revered public servant.
